I can see like a market vendor or new small business needing to do that but I've never even been charged at those places for using debit and LC is a multi-state chain. You cant pay by card or you're charged a ridiculous fee (what other restaurants charge you for using debit?Maybe there's others but I've certainly never been to one. I used to love this location, but whoever bought this place out and started changing policies over the last couple years has completely ruined this place.
